We are a comprehensive, patient centered, family practice clinic serving Overland Park and its surrounding communities. Phoenix Healthcare Clinic is a small, homegrown, and independently owned clinic that specializes in family practice, women’s health, and community urgent care needs. It is our desire to focus on the needs of our patients and their families. We understand the busy challenges of today’s family and the importance of receiving prompt care.

Our office is warm and inviting. It is easy to get to know each of our providers comfortably, as well as other members of our staff. We have a separate child’s waiting room, which is playful and interactive for children. Our providers are available on-call, after hours for emergent needs. The providers and staff of Phoenix Healthcare Clinic will get to know you and your family, as well as take a genuine interest in your emotional and physical health. We offer complimentary blood glucose and blood pressure testing.

What is Urgent Care?

Our urgent care is essentially a walk-in service that we provide during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Services include: sprains/strains, suture, abscess I&D, nail procedures and much more. You do not need an appointment, but if you call and let us know ahead of time that you are coming we can pull your records, which may expedite your visit. On occasion there may be a small wait behind regularly scheduled patients. Each provider works various days and hours, therefore we are not always able to accommodate specific provider requests. We offer urgent care hours so that our the patients do not experience costly emergency room visits, gaps or receive fragmented care.

We are always on call! After hours...

If you have a life-threatening emergency please call 911 or head to the nearest emergency room. Our providers do not mind assisting you after hours in an effort to minimize unnecessary emergency room cost or urgent care visits. Routine calls should be made during regular business hours. Unfortunately, we cannot make appointments or fill prescriptions after office hours as our providers do not have access to your records. When the office is closed you may reach a provider by calling the regular office number and following the prompts given. This will allow you to speak directly to the provider on-call. On occasion they may be tied up with another patient but please leave a message and your call will be returned within one hour, in most instances much sooner. If you do not hear from us within one hour, please call back.
